As a child I didn't have any real personal psychic experiences but there was always psychic activity around me. I can remember my deceased grandmother standing at the end of my bed, telling me my mother would have cancer, but would live for many years. She was later diagnosed with breast cancer and lived for 12 years after. I can remember pictures of my grandmother falling off the walls. Music boxes would start to play and the Christmas tree would turn on and off. These things only happened around my grandpa's birthday and Christmas, which lead me to believe it was he. As far as my own ability I didn't experience anything, only watched it happen.

            Years later, a friend of mine invited me to her meditation circle. I was not good at meditation; in fact I was having difficulties with all the things they were doing. Several weeks later I had a major operation. During the 10-hour operation I died on the table. The doctors were able to bring me back. After my recovery I went back to the meditation circle. I found that now mediating was easy. Actually anything they suggested I found easy. This was where I met my first teacher, a man named Nicky. That night the class went longer than usual. We were all so excited; I was doing all these amazing things! Nicky began working with me, helping me develop my abilities. Nicky told me I was given “gifts” after my operation. A man from MUFON (an ufo organization) came asked us to help him investigate. This went on for 3 years. People at our class began asking me question and I would use my abilities to answer them. One night a psychic came and gave readings. During the night I began thinking that I could do this.

            I started going to the psychic fairs. At the psychic I met many wonderful people all of which had different abilities. Some used cards, some used rocks, some read palms; I found I could get answers just by reading people’s energy. Many of the people I met at Bandwagon Productions would have major influences on my life. Joseph Palermo who I continue to do investigation work with.  George Greene who became my teacher. I worked with George on remote depossessions.  I did lessons at my house, where he would gather people and I would teach them to go to the light. Many of the people I taught became readers at bandwagon. Some became healers. I met people at the fairs who were walking the Indian path. I was very drawn to these people and I began to study with them. I found much of my healing ability was brought back through the Indian way. When I went to take Reiki I already knew what I was being taught. I am a Reiki Master, but I include a lot of Indian instruction I get from spirit. At this time Joseph was working with a lot of abductions. I wanted to be able to take them back through their experience, so I began taking a hypnotherapy class. I am a certified hypnotherapist, and I was regressed. This was where I found owlwoman. George said I should honor her and she should become part of my name. Since then I have been known as Joice Owlwoman. Years later George Greene passed away. At that time I took over at Bandwagon Productions at his request. My work with George did not stop after he crossed. I began working with him from the other side. Using that information I began writing a book with my friend Verna Perkins. I would sit with my hands on the computer and George would come through my body and move my fingers. After he died he taught me to communicate with him by him moving my fingers in yes and no positions. Years later I learned from a monk that this was called “ Tah O Nah Basa” which meant moving of fingers. The monk told me I should teach every one I could to do this to communicate with a loved one who has crossed.

            I met a man at a ghost hunt. You can see footage of baby being taken to the light after crossing over on www.theowlwoman.com. This man helped me become of a team called Shadow World’s. We were on 97.1 FM radio for 2 years. I was the psychic and answered question all over the United States. I was able to get people in touch with their loved ones, spirit guides and angels and answer many questions. We also went on many ghost hunts as a team.

I am currently doing readings, lecturers, fairs, and an on-line radio show. I want to reach out and touch as many people as possible. I want to help others be able to talk with there lost loved ones and have the answers to questions plaguing them. I want to help you with your journey to the light.
